Artist Statement

The need to stay fully present has always guided my creative process. My work unfolds like a dance: painted ribbons of colour move across the surface, capturing ideas, emotions, or simply the joy of motion. I paint, step back, and allow the narrative to emerge naturally, balancing control with letting go.

I describe my current approach as Neurographic Landscape, veining applied with intention, alongside painted forms that anchor each piece with reflections of the moment. This method grew from periods in my life that taught me to focus on the present, to respond to what I could truly influence, and to let go of concern for the past or future.

Through this process, I play, respond, and revel. My connection to the landscape, the peace and grounding I feel when in tune with the land beneath my feet, is central to my most recent work, shaping both its form and its feeling.
